Assume that you will develop a software system for a university, helping complete course registration. The information you have about this system is described by the scenario below:

The system the university currently has can only allow a staff in the Registrar Office to print a report telling the courses offered in each Major and the students enrolled in each course. The new system should keep this function.

In addition, the new system should enable the staffs in the Registrar Office to add or remove courses, and update the information about them (e.g., the maximum number of students permitted). The information of each course stored in the system includes: course id, course name, meeting time, meeting date(s), meeting location, instructor's name, the maximum number of students permitted, and a short description of the course.

On the other hand, the new system should provide the following online services to students:

l examine currently available courses,

l add courses or drop courses,

l print the list of courses they are enrolled.

The information of each student in the system includes: student id, student name, contact information, courses he/she has been enrolled.

The system should ensure that no students take too many courses and students who have any unpaid fees are not permitted to register. (Assume that the fee information is maintained by the universitys financial office. The new system can access the fee information but cannot change). In either case, the system should send an email to the student and a memo.

Other than that, because students can access the new system either day or night, the new system should be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Finally, most of students accessing this system are non-CS major students, so it should ensure that a student can learn how to use the system quickly and easily.
