Please complete and submit the following:

PART 1 - Within Microsoft Word create an Information Technologist Oath (like the Hippocratic Oath for doctors) at least one page long that states and dictates how individual will behave as a computer professional. For example, how an individual technologist (i.e. you) will: further the positive impact of technology; work to minimize any negative impact of technology, act around and protect sensitive data and information, act to reduce the digital divide, act to protect private information, etc. The oath should address relevant issues we have discussed throughout the course. Please find the attached copy of the modern Hippocratic Oath for doctors to be used as a model on how to write your Information Technologist Oath. Do not simply copy the Hippocratic Oath (even with tweaking); reflect and compose your own specific clauses that define and describe the behaviors, decisions, and ethical concerns of the modern technologist and highlight your comprehension and application of the relevant material.

PART 2 - Include a second page in your document that will give a robust description (at least a sentence) of what area of technology ethics, social responsibility or professionalism each clause attempts to address within your oath (a bullet may address more than one ethical area).

PART 3 Post your document and engage in meaningful discussion with your classmates.
