You have just loaded your groceries into your car parked in the outdoor parking lot of your favorite grocery store. You are located between two cart return stalls. The one farthest away from the building is closer to you. The one closer to the building is a little farther from you. The laws in your municipality say nothing about returning a shopping cart except that it is unlawful to steal one. Each stall contains a dozen carts that are returned haphazardly. There are several carts located in parking spots around the parking lot. The store employs a cart gatherer who works for minimum wage. What happens to your cart?
