Case: Negotiating a Group Project in College I had to collaborate with three other students on a group project for a business course. At the end of the semester, we were required to create a business plan for a startup and present it to the class. Unfortunately, we disagreed on how to approach the project and had different thoughts and viewpoints. 2. Your concerns on the case: Creating a workable and original business plan that would impress the professor and get me a decent grade piqued my curiosity. I wanted to offer my knowledge and abilities to the project, but I also wanted to make sure that everyone on the team had an equal share of the work. 3. Interests of the opposing party: The opposing party likewise wanted to receive a high grade, but they had different suggestions for how to go about it. One of my partners wanted to concentrate on branding and marketing, while another wanted to concentrate on profitability and financial forecasts. 4.
