The customer initiates the return process online or on the app.

The customer gets a shipping label that includes the carrier, tracking number, and other information, such as the number of days during which the product must be returned and the location to return it$.$

The customer goes to the location & returns the product.

The customer gets a confirmation of the return.

The carrier ships the product back to the e$-$commerce company.

The e$-$commerce company receives the product back into its warehouse.

When the returned product is received, the receivers verify the return by checking the system to validate the product, customer, and other information, such as whether the product was returned within the timeframe; if it is not, then the return is rejected and goes to the nonconformance area for further analysis by the return department of the e$-$commerce company.

After the product is successfully received, the e$-$commerce company refunds the customer.
