The Stuart Monarchs and the Tudors had their fair share of differences. The Stuart Monarchs didnt have positive relations with the Parliament which resulted in negative relations oppose to the Tudors who were in good standing with the Parliament. The Tudors forged positive relations with the Parliament by seeking advice and approval consistently for several affairs, for example the formation of new taxes. There were several issues that the Stuart Monarchs had with the Parliament, one was the finacial issues that originated from Queen Elizabeth. The Stuart Monarchs looked for finacial support that the Parliament would not yeild to which caused friction. One of the leading factors that led to the English Civil war was King Charles himself and his insufficient funds. This led to King Charles seeking to grant further taxes from the Parliment which they denied him. Charles needed the funds to fincance military campaigns. It goes without saying that the conflict was between King Charles and the Parliament, the conflict was wider involving Wales, Scotland and Ireland which were best known as the Wars of the Three Kingdoms. The Puritans were considered independent; However they had positive relations with the Parliament, they felt like they were fighting for what they believed in most which was god. King Charles accepted defeat and was executed which ended in the triumph of the Parliament.
