a$.$ Observe the Stephenson Type $1,2$ and $3$ Mechanisms. Using concepts from this course,

describe the primary difference between these three mechanisms. Explain why the method

described in section $4\mathrm{.}13$ will not work for a Stephenson Type $2$ mechanism.

b$.$ Using the image of the Stephenson Type $1,$ map out each of the steps in the derivation of

the equations $($and subsequent code$)$ to calculate the angles ${}_5$ and ${}_6$ and the position of

$E,G$ and $F.$

c$.$ Using your steps for the Type $1,$ determine the steps necessary for a Type $3$ and modify the

code from the Type $1$ to calculate the angles ${}_5$ and ${}_6$ and the position of $E,C$ and $G.$

d$.$ Develop the loop code to calculate the values of the angles ${}_5$ and ${}_6$ and the position of
