1. Describe an organizations strategy, management approach, culture, ethics, attitudes, and values. Describe an organization (use an example/research organization)

2. Identify and discuss a negative dysfunctional employee behavior that may occur in the organization you have chosen. The behavior may occur in a single employee or may be a general behavior occurring throughout the organization. Please include two dysfunctional behaviors if a clear relationship exists, for example, absenteeism and lying.

3. Identify and discuss the potential individual employee characteristics contributing to the dysfunctional behavior. Consider personal ethics, personality traits, attitudes, values, perceptions, stress levels, and other possible factors. Incorporate organizational behavior terminology and concepts in the discussion.

4. Analyze the relationship between the organizations characteristics identified in part 1 and the employees personal attributes in part 3. Discuss how both entities contribute to the dysfunctional employee behavior. Clearly detail the responsibilities of each entity in the contribution to the dysfunction.

5. Synthesize a solution to minimize or eliminate the dysfunctional behavior, encouraging the employee to engage in a positive functional behavior. Creativity and innovative approaches are acceptable.
