The focus of the study is to understand the reason for the explosion and immediately take precautionary measures to arrest future accident possibilities. Scientific study, though it dives deep to understand the reasons for explosion, it takes much longer time to respond. Job safety analysis will just implement risk mitigation steps in case an accident happens. FMEA on the other hand dives deep to understand the root causes and try to attack them. Also this standardizes the solutions and ensure horizontal deployment on similar threats. Thus, Gross Hazard Analysis + FMEA serves the purpose of the study better. Comment >
