1. Using the Justia website (https://www.justia.com/), search for court cases involving your favorite brand in America (i.e., Pepsi-Cola, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Chick-Fil-A, Samsung, Motorola, Red Bull, etc.)
2. From the search results, select a court case. The most interesting are cases involving infringement of trademarks, patents, copyrights, or trade secrets. This will be your first reference for this week's discussion board.
3. Once the court case is open in Justia.com, scroll down the page and find the Search this Case section.
4. Under the Search this Case section, select the Google Scholar link
5. When the case you selected appears, click the "Cited by" link with the largest number. This will then identify multiple cases that have cited your original case to support a future case.
6. Select two cases that utilitze, your original case as support. You may copy the information of these cases into Justia to receive the full details. These two cases will be your second and third reference for this week's discussion board.

Base your initial post, due by Thursday at 11:59PM CST, using your personalized results from the steps above,

• Describe your original court case and resulting opinion that you selected related to your favorite brand.
• Do any of your selected court cases involve a valid contract entered into via the Internet?
• How did your original case support the two additional cases you identified in Google Scholar?
• As a technology manager, what would you do to ensure your organization follows the basic requirements for a valid contract entered into via the Internet?
