Total quality management is the management of an entire organization so that it excels in all aspects of products and services that are important to the customer (Heizer, Render, & Munson, 2020). TQM has a larger emphasis on the quality throughout the entire company and process. Some principles of total quality management are customer experience, approach to process, improvement and decision making. Some steps in the approach that apply to service and product-based steps in a business would be training the employees, exposing them to proper handling of situations and proper procedures and policies, and making proper decisions based on trends from past periods, going off factual evidence. The identifying of past statistics allows businesses to identify proper areas that may need the reevaluation or improvement
