Cite at least three rights that an individual would enjoy based on Education Act of 1982. Cite also three violations made on the individual on this Act. Explain briefly and make a stand on why it is a right or a violation. Please don't repeat the rights as cited in the Act. Think of other rights and violations. Education Act of 1982 Education Act of 1982 or Batas Pambansa Bilang 232 states that " the state shall promote the right of every individual to relevant quality education regardless of sex, age, breed, socioeconomic status, physical and mental condition, social and ethnic origin, political and other affiliations. The state shall therefore promote and maintain equality of access to education as well as enjoyment of the benefits of education by all its citizens. " In view of this Act, it is therefor the right of every citizen to know and be aware of their rights. Some students my never know that they have these rights or some may never know that their rights have already been violated Others may only be thinking of their rights, not knowing that they have also violated the rights of others. A good example of this, is checking on their report cards. They know that it is their right to know of their performance. However, they cannot be asking to see the performance of their classmate. It is also a violation of their right, when a teacher who is not handling his subject would be seeing his/ her report card
