Laboratory Technician

About the Role

This is a part-time position working between 24-30 hours per week over at least 4 days. The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about laboratory work, has a strong eye for detail, and enjoys working in a collaborative, hands-on environment. Reporting to the Development and Technical Services Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining the lab's smooth operation and supporting product testing and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

Support Industrial, Process, and Development Chemists with day-to-day activities

Maintain, calibrate, and care for laboratory equipment and instruments

Conduct chemical tests, retest old stock, and perform product stability testing

Prepare and collect samples from production and packing

Organise and clean the laboratory to maintain safety and efficiency

Manage customer sample dispatch and coordinate programs such as Farm Water Testing
