Jennifer: I'll be honest, I work full time during the day and I'm also in school working on my masters degree. I do my school work when I get home and on the weekends. If Gary is asleep, I am not opposed to you doing school work, I just don't want him to be awake and see it. He feels ignored/neglected. And I don't want other staff seeing it and thinking it's ok to be on their personal devices. Because when I hold them to the policy they can say... "but you let Mina do it." Me: I understand. How does he feel neglected or ignored if he's always locks himself in his game room and only comes out to get food (which he does take back to game room) or take his meds? I understand that it's manageable to do school work if he's asleep and not let him see it but he does sleep around 11:30 or midnight. His sleeping schedule is up to him and something that we cannot control or boss him around you know. However the classes I take this semester the assignments are not due on a traditional Sunday @11:59, but rather on Monday or Thursday. Sometimes the Professor doesn't release the homework the day of the assignment being due Jennifer: I totally understand! Mine is not traditional either. Did he end up missing any that you are aware of? Me: I know that he takes his seroquel in the noon time too so I'm not aware if he took it that Friday @5pm. With Kathy's permission I took the seroquel out from the Sunday AM compartment so he can have it for Friday AM med administration Jennifer: Ok, is it in the pill trays for this week? And what did she say the reason was when you told her it wasn't in the Friday am? Me: For this week the pill trays has the seroquel in both AM and PM compartment for the week. When I called her right away around 10:07 pm when I noticed the medication was missing she sounded a bit irritated. When I explained to her what's going on she wanted me to take the seroquel from the med bottle itself and put it in the days it was missing from Friday and Saturday AM and PM compartment. I noticed the seroquel in the Sunday compartment, so with her permission or confirmation I was able to distribute that seroquel for his Friday AM med pass. Not to be mean or anything but how many missed medications does it tale for Kathy to distribute the meds right?
