Please help me give feedback and answer the questions. NEED SHORT ANSWER 3-5 sentences

1. According to Hyeyoung, Jae-Nam, and Jaemin (2010) a business ecosystem is an economic community involving many companies working together in order to gain comparative advantages that stem from their symbiotic relationships. These types of ecosystems permit companies to create new values that no one company could create on their own. Using business ecosystems to create value can, in turn, lead to competitive advantage through innovation. Within a business ecosystem organizations have access to resources they would not normally have. This can give an advantage over a competitor that does not belong to a business ecosystem. Access to information from another organization's R&D department can save both time and money when developing an innovation

While business ecosystems can be a good thing, are there any drawbacks?

2. Age and gender are factors that can affect an individuals perception of an innovation. Members of different generational groups have differing life experiences and differing technological experiences during different stages of their lives (DeCusatis, 2008; Glass, 2007). These experiences can affect an individuals perception of innovation. Members of the younger generations have a perception of innovation that relates to something new and something that solves problems (Glass, 2007). Members of these generations have been exposed to technology from a very early age. Older generations have a perception of innovation that may not include something new or something that fixes a problem, but rather is something that has been improved or changed to solve a problem or need (Glass, 2007). Differing life experiences among these groups contribute to how members of these generations view innovation at the individual level. Members of these generations exhibit different wants and desires that can translate into each group differing on its views of innovation. Cultural differences can impact the adoption of an innovation. Whether or not an innovation is adopted has a lot to do with how the innovation is percieved. This perception of innovation can vary due to variables such as age and gender. It is also important for organizations to understand this, in order to market their innovations effectively.

Have you ever noticed that you have thought something was innovative and a member of a different age group or gender disagreed with you? Or vice versa?
