Please help me with the following assignment in my computer science course. We only use C++ programming. Any explanation of the question and or example answer will be very helpful.

Question:

PART 1:

Using C++ programming develop a function, position(array, value) that searches an array for a value, returning the position of the value if found in the array and -1 otherwise. Use a linear (sequential) search in your function. Test the function with an array of 100 randomly-generated integers.

PART 2:

Using C++, rewrite the above function using binary search.
