(a) Assuming the infinite sites model of mutation and that the ancestral haplotype is n, estimate the mutation parameter @ using: (i) The number of segregating sites, (ii) The number of singleton sites in the sample, (iii) The number of doubleton sites in the sample, (iv) The total number of singletons and doubletons in the sample. (b) Use Gusfield's algorithm to construct a gene tree from the sequences, taking the ancestral sequence as haplotype k.
