Should all contested artifacts be repatriated to their countries of origin? How can museums and source communities collaborate to balance restitution with preservation and public education? Should repatriation be a simpler process; does it leave intentional room for the museum to be able to build a case against repatriation (case research and reporting)? Is it important to have a lengthy process in place?
