PLEASE HELP!!! NEED THE ANSWER IN AN EXCEL SHEET, PLEASE SHARE THE EXCEL DOCUMENT

The EuroWatch Company assembles inexpensive ("el cheapo") wristwatches and then sells them to retailers

throughout Europe. The watches are assembled at a plant with two assembly lines - - and because they are

"inexpensive" watches, there is no "Quality Control Section" at the end of either of the two production lines.

The lines are intended to be identical but line 1 uses somewhat older equipment than line two and is typically

less reliable. Historical data reveals each watch coming off line 1, independently of the others coming off line

1, is free of defects with probability 0.97. The similar probability for line two is 0.98. Each production line is

capable of producing 500 watches per hour.

The production manager has asked your team to answer the following questions:

Question One: There are two parts to the first question:

hour.

b. She also wants to know the smallest integer k (for each line separately) such that you can be 99% sure

that the line will not produce more than k

defective watches

in a given hour.
