Assignment 2 ( 20 points total) In this assignment, you will practice using the principles and tools to design a database of precision cancer medicine. Many drugs have been tested to cancer patients of different ethnicity background with certain mutations detected in their tumor, as reported in the literature with observed effectiveness. The database that you will design is to allow for easy retrieval the reported response of these drugs so that physicians can choose the drug the most promising to their patients. Hint: A smartphone app called "MyCancerGenome" can give you more sense of how these entities are linked to each other. Essential entities in this database should include - drugs, - cancer types (e.g., breast cancer, liver cancer, etc.), - mutations, - ethnicity background, - reported effectiveness (e.g., one of "resistance", "responsive", "non-responsive", "sensitive", "reduced sensitivity") - and the sources of the reports.
