PLEASE HELP, SUPER CONFUSED
answer is not 24.1875
Suppose that if you didn't go to college, you would be making $10 an hour and working 2000 hours per year. If you go to community college for 2 years that will cost you $3000 per year in fees and books. Then you go to a CSU for 2 years, which costs you $9,000 per year in fees, books, etc. For each of the 4 years you're in school, you work half-time, thus you have $10,000 of missed labor income for each of your 4 years of college education.
Your total costs of college are the direct fees and books plus the lost income of working part time.
