1. Survey Research. Students should be able to fully discuss different types of surveys (including their logic, and strengths/weaknesses). In addition, students should provide examples of three poorly worded questions and ways to correct them. Finally, students should discuss two reasons why survey research is important.

2. Field Research. For this question, students should be able to describe the logic behind field research. They will also be asked for examples of appropriate topics for field researchers to study. In addition, they may be asked to summarize the research presented in the OxyContin Express documentary. Not least, they may be given a hypothetical example about field research and asked to answer specific questions about this technique, and the reliability of the methods used.
