In this discussion, consider yourself a maintenance director for a medium-size airline company (regional perhaps) in which the airline will be shifting its maintenance program(s) to a new and improved online format where it will be paperless. The new change will be met with some resistance from personnel in your departments and you are unsure whether or not the change is being incorporated as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Carefully explain how the program will be implemented, what resources will be needed, and any managing conflicts that may come up. Prior to implementation, all employees will need to be fully trained by taking a four-hour training course. Explain how you will get "buy-in" from the employees to address any anxiety they may be having. With any new program, there are always unforeseen glitches in the beginning; discuss what possible issues may come up and how you could resolve the issues and move on to the final stage of implementation.
