PLease help with the design portion: Design a four bar linkage to carry the bucket from a filling position on top of the scales on the table, to a
dumping position over the conveyor belt. An intermediate position is specified to help ensure that the corner of the table is cleared. It is desirable that the moving pivots be on the bucket, and the fixed pivots be within the area of the table. Build a scale model (e.g. cardboard and thumbtacks) on top of the original drawing to prove the motion is achieved. The original drawing and all the graphical constructions should be included as the background for the model to prove the model does go through the precision positions. Add a driving dyad to the fourbar to allow a motor to drive a crank continuously, while the bucket moves back and forth between its loading and dumping positions. Add to the model to prove this motion is achieved.
Your submission should include the following:
(i) a scanned image of the graphical constructions used to obtain the linkage.
(ii) a simple video in which you demonstrate the motion of your linkage model (i.e. turn the crank on the driving dyad, and the "bucket" link moves through the defined positions. The original image from the problem statement should be clearly shown as the background of the model to prove it moves through theprecision positions.
