please I need help with this lab I already have number 1,2,3... I need 4,5,6,7,8

the Experment ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GatUUhRZN2A )

1)Make a table in which you note these results for each current that was shown

  • Helmholtz coil current
  • Number of oscillations observed
  • Start and stop time of the video and the time elapsed for those oscillation

2)For each entry in the table calculate the magnetic field in microtesla (10-6 T)at the center of the coil where the magnet is suspended using the Helmholtz coil formula for Bx of a Helmholtz coil given on the class website

3)For each entry in the table calculate the frequency of the oscillation of the magnet by dividing the number of complete oscillations you observed by the time in seconds for the observation

4)Put your two lists, the field B and the frequency f, into a form that can be loaded into the online calculator Desmos.

Enter your lists here. They should be in a form with square brackets and comma-separated values. The ordering should be the same for both B and the measured frequency. We might have for example

B = [1600, 1000, ...] F = [1.3, 0.95, ...]

but your values will differ.

5)Use a fit of the plots to find the best solution to

for the different Helmholtz coil fields.

What are the fitting parameters? Can you estimate their possible errors?

Explain what you did to get these values.

6)What did you find for frequency of oscillation in the case where there was no Helmholtz field, the one where the current was zero? The magnet still oscillated then too, but at what frequency?Give your answer in hertz.

7)The fit that you found in #6 had a b0 term such that when the Helmholtz field B is zero (no current in the coil) it will cancel the b1f2 you measured with no Helmholtz field. This b0term is the intercept of the plot versus f2 and it should be negative. Its absolute value will be Earth's local magnetic field in the lab. BEarth=|b0| What did you find for Earth's field in micro-tesla(10-6 T)?
