Please I need help with this marketing question.
Topic #2) Product Lifecycle Management:
When Augusto Morales founded Zambos in 1982, his offerings were seen as quite novel and the D.C. restaurant scene had very few Central American options. As a consequence, word began to spread quickly about the amazing, inexpensive dishes found at Zambos. Yet, over the span of almost 40 years, other local rivals have emerged in the DMV area. As to be expected, it is no longer a novelty and some customers have expressed sentiments that the food is run-of-the-mill. The customer base is shifting (refer back to Practicum #2 and 3) and palates have changed.
For this challenge, your consulting team needs to find ways to appeal to this shifting consumer mindset about the product portfolio (i.e., the menu and service, etc.).
a) First, identify and argue what Product Lifecycle stage your consultant group believes Zambo's is currently in (hint: review the market environment data and market research data already performed).
b) Next, identify at least two specific changes (T2b1 and T2b2) your group recommends to the Product P of the Market Mix. Specifically, how can Isabella make sure Zambos meets the preferences of the older, established customers and also the secondary and possibly new potential target market(s)?
Using Marketing concepts from previous chapters, justify your recommendations. Review your earlier submissions (strategy, market environment analysis, segments, and positioning) to ensure your recommendations are consistent.
