As per the definition, probability can be assumed to be a value between 0 and 1. According to the text, it can be "the closer a probability is to a 0, the more improbable it is that the event will occur. The closer it is to 1, the more likely it is to happen." In a nutshell, the probability index gives an idea or inclination on when to expect something to happen or not. It also gives us an understanding that everything in life is between 0 and 1. Even though it seems to amount to a small range, the probability that lies within it is what enables of to prepare and make decisions in our daily lives.
