Examples of possible technical causes of failure are:

The load bearing capacity of the foundation piles was insufficient because their length was insufficient.

Subsidence could occur, the columns moved vertically and the support of the temporary structure was insufficient,

thus resulting in full collapse.

The applied precast concrete planks were two times thicker than according to initial design. This resulted in a

larger total weight on top of the temporary structure. The posts of the vertical structure were overloaded and the

structure collapsed.
