Select two professional engineering practice jurisdictions (e.g., Utah and Alaska) and detail the process by which candidates earn and maintain a professional engineer's license. You should select 1) a jurisdiction in which you plan to practice immediately upon graduation and 2) a jurisdiction in which you foresee practicing in the next ten years other than that of the first. Remember that practicing does not mean living in that jurisdiction. It means to provide engineering services for a project that is subject to the requirements of that jurisdiction. For example, you can live in Utah and have a project located in Alaska. In which case, you must have a license to practice in Alaska.
