You have just been made corporate vice president in charge of car company and are directly in charge of assigning engines to different production stations. There are four types of engines. The unit profit and demand for the product is given in the following table. There are three stations where the engines can be produced. The maximum assembly capacities, for any mix of engines, are given in the second table below. The number of engines that can be produced at a location is limited by the amount of suitably formulated lead the station can produce. The lead requirements for each engine type and the maximum lead production for each station are also given in the following tables. a.
