Your manager has asked you to plan, organise, attend and monitor a promotions event for Plan2go at the Newcastle World Travel Expo. The objective is to promote the services of Plan2go to industry representatives as well as the general public. Case Study: . . You have been provided with the following details: The Expo lasts for two days and will be held in Newcastle on a Friday and Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm in two months' time. You report to the Marketing Manager who has already paid for the cost of the stand, permanent staff and insurances and has requested regular updates on your progress. Plan2Go will be represented by two permanent staff and supported by four casual events staff who are paid award wages (General Retail Industry Award 2010). The casuals will be greeting visitors, representing Plan2Go in a friendly, professional way, providing a free gift to visitors, and giving information to visitors. You are responsible for recruiting, selecting and inducting the casuals. The Plan2Go stand will have branded giveaways for the visitors.
