Social Determinants of Health (SDH) as the circumstances under which individuals are born, raised, reside, work, engage in recreation, and age, which collectively impact health outcomes negatively throughout their lives (WHO, 2017). Social determinants of health may result in hindrances to physical health, socioemotional growth, mental health, and educational achievement levels, affecting the potential for commendable adulthood. SDH is the everyday influences on one's life which can result in negative health outcomes like the lack of nutritious food, dangerous, access to healthcare services, and exposure to crime violence, and social disorders (Baldyga,2018) America will continue to face health conditions and outcomes which hence the mortality rates and increases of diseases. The causes of many deaths are social determinants such as literacy, fatalism, gender bias, racial bias, unemployment, and poverty (Foege ,2010). In 1424, the emperor of the Ming Dynasty in China, who himself experienced poverty, wisely remarked that "We must treat poverty like we would treat drowning, there is no time to lose." That quote states the poverty should be urgently addressed and treated like seriously. Today, poverty is the single biggest factor contributing to adverse health outcomes, affecting access to healthcare, nutritious food, safe housing, and education (Foege, 2010).
