"My biggest takeaway from the video is that there is a difference between management and leadership. Leadership is rare and very valuable. Leading your employees without ego is what makes it so valuable and effective.

After viewing the video, explain how you plan to lead others within your small business? After viewing this video I plan to lead others within my small business by being in touch with them and being in their shoes. I would give them the support they need and put in the same hours they put in. As a leader, I think it is important to remember the people within your business are sacrificing their time and energy to work for you and help your business succeed, so why wouldn't I be right beside them, in touch with them, guide them, and be in their shoes? What can you do along your small business journey to ensure you are truly leading and not just managing others? Along my business journey to ensure I'm leading and not just managing others. I would work alongside my employees and make sure I'm doing everything in my power to make sure they are happy. Happy to come to work. I would be there working alongside them Mon.-Fri., making sure my employees have time to spend time with family & friends. I would never want my employees they don't have the time to do what they love outside of work because they are working crazy hours, which doesn't allow their free time. I would make sure they always have the tools and resources they need to get their job done. I would reward them consistently so they are reminded that their hard work never goes unnoticed and is always appreciated"
