The result of the chi square test shows there is a significant association between social class (CLASS) and "preschool age children suffer if mothers work" (FEPRESCH) (X2 = 16.263^a, df = 9, p = .062).The null hypothesis can be rejected. 6.3% of the cells have expected counts less than five, we should interpret the results with caution. Working class respondents are slightly more likely than Upper class respondent to disagree with the statement that "preschool age children suffer if mothers work" about 54.9% of working class respondents disagree that "preschool age children suffer if mothers work" (FEPRESCH) vs. Upper class 52.0%.
