This basically explains the strength and status of an organization as regards its information security. It entails how an organization can envisage, prevent, and react to cyber threats and other vulnerabilities as they unfold from time to time. Going by the findings from the presentation made by an information security team member, it is safe to state that Multiple Unite Security Assurance (MUSA) Corporation has a very low-security posture which can be classified as UNACCEPTABLE RISK position because the baseline security standards are not being met within the organization, this is evident from the many security gaps inherent within the organization, ranging from non-conduct of cyber security awareness training to non utilization of data encryption mechanisms in data exchange, to lack of a change management policy which ought to reorientate staff of transformations in organization goals, policies and technologies, lack of Intrusion detection/ Intrusion prevention system (IDS/IPS), untimely/Irregular conduct of vulnerability assessment, low staff motivation leading to a high attrition rate, increased theft and security incidence reports, and no clearly outlined segregation of duties. All of which exposes the organization and makes it highly vulnerable. The current security posture of the organization is in shambles and needs a complete overhaul
