2UESTIONS 1. In a continues dryer, 500kg/h wet cat feed containing 60% moisture is to be dried to reduce moisture content to 10%. The air enters the dryer at 100C with 47C wet bulb temperature, and exit air leaves the dryer at 53C with 60% relative humidity. Some part of the exit air sent to a preheater and it mixed with the fresh air at 21C and 52% relative humidity. Calculate: a) the amount of fresh air entering the preheater b) heat should be supplied to the preheater (Neglect the heat loss to the surroundings)
