1. Make an Excel spreadsheet (sheet 1, renamed as NPV) designed to calculate the NPV, IRR, profitability index and payback period for a project. Those are the outputs, and should be labelled. The inputs are the projects required rate of return and its 40 quarterly cash flows.

To grade, my professor will be putting the required rate of return into the cell where your label suggests, and will be cutting and pasting a column of 40 quarterly cash flows your spreadsheets space for them. Then he'll verify your spreadsheets four answers.
