Please solve question 1 of chapter 8. The order "vectorcat" is not defined in your notes so I defined it myself.

Please download the matlab file attached and use " [x,y,v]=vectorcat()" . v is the matrix of 500 elements. Use this to answer question 1, multiply v by suitable matrix (By downloading the text book and looking at the tables in pages 73-74) and plot the original and the transformed v in the same figure. you can plot v using either "Scatter" or" Plot" .Please solve question 1 of chapter 8. The order "vectorcat" is not

1. Generate the points (x.y) using the command: x,Y] - vectorcat) Note that X and Y are the coordinates (x.y) for the cat picture, stored in row vectors. Plot these points (use 'axis equal' command for a better view). Use lines not markers to plot the points. You should see the cat's picture if you have done everything correctly Compute the following transformations for the set of vectors (X,Y) a. Refiection though the x axis b. Refiection though the y axis c. Refiection though the axis y-x d. Reflection though the axis y-x e. Refilection though the origin f. Horizontal Contractions by factor 1/3 g. Vertical Contraction by a factor 1/5 h. Horizontal Expansions by a factor 3 i. Vertical Expansions by a factor of 4 j. Horizontal Shears by a factor of -1.5 then +1.5 k. Vertical Shears by a factor of -1.5 then +1.5 1. Projection onto the x axis m. Projection onto the y axis n. Rotation by an angle o, clockwise and counterclockwise o. Rotation by an angle of clockwise and counterclockwise 1.
