Please solve this two problems step by step with necessary figures.
1) Two straights on the centre line of a proposed railway intersect at 1270.8 m, the deflection angle being 38\deg 24'. It is proposed to put in a circular curve of 320 m radius with cubic parabolic transition curve 36 m long at each end. The combined curve is to be set out by the method of deflection angles with pegs at at every 10m through chainage on the transition curves and with pegs at every 20 m through chainage on the circular curve. Tabulate the data relative to the first two stations on the first transition curve and the junction of the transition curves with circular etc.
2) Two highways intersecting at a deflection angle of 42\deg 30 are to be connected by a 6 circular curve by means of two equal transition curve of length 150 ft to each end. Calculate the chainages of the beginning and end of transition curve and at the junctions of the transition curves with the circular arc if the chainage of the P.I. is 10500 in ft. Also compute the data relative to first two stations on the first transition curve and the junctions of the transition curve with circular etc. Take peg interval 50 ft for circular curve and 20 ft for transition curve.
