Identify one company that your current/prospective employer (or current entrepreneurial venture) engages in competitive rivalry with. (1) How would you describe the degree of market commonality or resource similarity among the focal companies (i.e, your employer/entrepreneurial venture and its main rival)? (2) Discuss at least one action that your employer, entrepreneurial venture, or main rival has engaged in within the last 3-6 months in an effort to improve its market position. Be sure to mention which type of action was used and whether it was an initial attack or a response. (3) Explain which factor(s) led to the focal companys decision to make the initial attack or respond to its rivals attack. This explanation should incorporate concepts related to drivers of competitive behavior, likelihood of attack, or likelihood of response.
