Please Write a case study on XYZ Company. Answer the case study questions below.

A successful multi-system integration for a global chemical and paint company with fragmented data spread across multiple ERPs, variety of reporting tools given ERP landscape, including business unit specific data sources. The integration combined and harmonized data input into multiple systems by different business units within the organization, allowing for standard business reporting capabilities that will enhance efficiency, user experience, performance, robust data analysis and provides a single source of financial truth. Business Challenge Nine different business units across a global oil company were storing their own businesscritical data in various backend systems and using multiple (15) ERPs for enterprise transactions that were not all integrated. In order to improve and leverage the company's rich transactional data for competitive advantage, they needed a full systems integration of the various ERPs which included SAP, Oracle, QAD, SCM (Supply Chain Management) Software and other Business Intelligence software. Also, the company has challenges producing global reports and KPls (key performance indicators) due to limited data visibility, and a lack of harmonized master data across the different systems. With the current fragmentation, they were not effectively and efficiently using company's data for strategic decision-making, and they were not seeing a wholistic picture of the firm's financial performance. Systems Integration Implementation Objective XYZ complex ERP landscape has led the organization to implement SAP's Central Finance (CFIN), Group Reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The CFIN implementation is part of XYZ 's journey and will relieve challenges the finance team currently faces due to limited data visibility and granularity, limited standardized KPIs and reporting, and a lack of harmonized master data. This project used a multi-phase approach, and the first phase will be CFIN foundation. XYZ first identified the deliverables of the CFIN implementation, the final state landscape of the integrated system is in figure 1 : Deliverables: - Validate and Implement in SAP CF in a harmonized finance Enterprise Structure \& Chart of Accounts - Establish foundation for transactional data replication from the different source ERPs in CFIN - Standardize actual management reporting using CFIN data - Define a Master Data Governance Framework and implement and enable Finance Master Data Governance processes on a selected master data management tool Define the baseline SAP security strategy and deploy SAP GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) access controls Integration requirements included: - Loading data from all legacy backend systems - Securely synchronizing data, including ensuring real-time accuracy, harmonization, and replication for all users no matter their location or the time of day they were accessing the systems and data throughout the day - Extracting data, to serve as a backup and for historical reporting purposes The XYZ Company Case Study Global Systems Integration Project - Visualization and data mashup, a single dashboard display combined the reporting tools (Fiori, Analysis for Office and SAC) Create a data foundation and toolset that will deliver advanced analytics, dashboarding, and reporting metrics. See reporting approach in figure 2 . Figure 2: Reporting \& Analytics Approach Implementation Teams \& Change Management The requirements and deliverables described above (figure 1&2 ) was realized in the CFIN project leveraging the program structure depicted on figure 3 . Apart of the different workstreams involved in this project, the Change management team identified impacts to business users, technology, and process. They established regular communication and training schedule to minimize the user impacts. The firm hired SAP Implementation consultants as SI (system integrators) for the implementation and XYZ employees supported the development of organizational readiness with the firm's leadership team and its members. This initiative was maintained through the completion of the integration and included tracking feedback, documenting work completed, and recording business processes.
