To stay up to date with the evolving employment laws, Human Resource Management (HRM) must always take a proactive approach. HRM must then ensure for all members to be trained and receive a deeper understanding of any new HR material. In the workplace, an HR handbook is always key and must be kept up to date with all employee laws and workplace information. A study found that organizations with a specific written HR strategy had revenues per employee that are 35% higher than organizations without a written strategy and that those organizations with a written strategy had 12% less employee absenteeism and lower turnover (Mello, 2024).
