Can we build Artificial Intelligence without losing control over it? Sam Haris tells us that we should be scared of AI because they could become more competent than us and thus destroy us. He says that they will treat us like Ants. Should we believe his ideas? Or should we keep going and improve our machines to become smarter and smarter? We dont stand at the peak of intelligence, but we can create AI that can be smarter than we ever imagined. They will innovate things more than we could ever imagine. Should we be scared? Should we use the smart machines to bring our economy and scientific discoveries to new reaches? No one knows how long it will take to create AI in a safe way because its never been done before. It is something we should be sensitive about. These machines will be grafted onto our brains so they would be able to understand us. Is it smart and safe to have AI connected to our brains? If it is connected to us, we can control AI without losing control. Is AI something we should be scared of? OR is it something we should use to create a smarter society. We are already on the path to creating AI such as Siri and Alexa, but what if we create something smarter? Would humans eventually lose control? How would our lives change if AI took control over us? Would we be able to live as we do? Would we as a human society become smarter in turn? Or would we diminish as a race?
