Question 1 You've been given the task of testing cannons for this year's new year's eve fireworks displays. For safety purposes it is required that the fireworks detonate from a height of at least 195m to ensure that no one come to harm. Each cannon launches fireworks from an initial height of 2.2m (this is the height from which every firework is released) with a different initial velocity (Vi)) [See figure 2]. Use one of Newtons laws of motion (equation 1) to determine how high each of the canons is able to launch the fireworks, and use an IF function to return the message "Safe" if the firework is able to reach 195m, and the word "Unsafe" when the firework is unable to reach 195m. NB : The firework will reach its maximum height when Vf=0m/s. Vf2=Vi2+2gX (Equation 1) 1.1. Copy the tables in figure 1 as is into your Excel spread sheet. Here Vf represents the final velocity, Vi the initial velocity, hi the initial height, x the height the canon is able to launch the firework, hi is the height from which the firework is launched, and hf is the final height reached by the firework. a. 1 screenshot of table. 1.2. In the columns labeled " x ", and "hf" determine the change in height, as well as the overall height respectively that each of the cannons achieve using one of Newtons laws of motion (equation 1). The initial velocity as well as the initial height have to be incorporated into the function using references pointing the cells in which they appear in figure 1: so use absolute references were appropriate. a. 1 screenshot of the table with the formulae used to determine " x " in full view. b. 1 screen shot of the table with the formulae used to determine "hf" in full view. c. 1 screen shot of the table with the formulae used to return the words "Unsafe", and "Safe" in full view .
