What do you think about work-sharing programs? Why? Had you heard of work- sharing programs before? If given the choice between a layoff or a reduction in hours each week as part of a work-sharing program, what would you choose and why? Would your answer change if you knew that your job was 'safe' and that you wouldn't lose your job as a result of a layoff (but that other employees would)?
