PM$-$G Assignment #$10$: Project Management Software Application and PMBOK Principles Integration$$Objective:The objective of this assignment is to integrate theoretical knowledge of project management principles based on the PMBOK framework with practical application using project management software.$$Task $1$: Individual$1$Select a project management software tool $($e$.$g$.,$ Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, etc.$).$ Each group$$ member should select a different software application$\mathrm{.}2$Utilize the chosen software to create a project plan based on the groups selected project scenario and PMBOK principles.$$Individual Deliverable:Submit screenshots of relevant reports and visualizations generated by the software.My selected project idea is the proposed development of a levee$/$floodwall$.$ A levee, also referred to as a floodwall, is a wall built along the banks of a river or stream to prevent flood waters from effecting the areas beyond the wall. Our only requirements for our project idea were that the project should help with real$-$life natural disasters, and the project should have somewhere between $25-50$ activities that are involved with it$.$ A floodwall is a very applicable piece of infrastructure which helps reduce the effects of a natural disaster. Flooding can be very dangerous and very damaging to communities, and being in the vicinity of a river or stream will only increase these adverse effects to the community. A levee would mitigate, or even alleviate the worries of flooding causing catastrophic damages. Constructing a levee, although it may seem pretty simple, is a very involved process. I think that there will be no problem reaching the required number of activities for this project idea. To construct a levee, there are several activities that need to be done in both the construction and pre$-$construction stages. There will be quite a few activities when considering the need for field investigations, analysis, design, and the construction to carry out the project. All in all, I find this project idea to work well within the requirements given, and I personally think it is a very interesting idea.$$
