An overview of these resources and understanding of their relationships with enforcement becomes a principle part of the body of knowledge at the entry-level police officer's disposal. Develop a complete list of social services available in your home community or county, with a minimum of 25 social service agencies required. A partial list may be available through the telephone directory or local police, welfare departments, etc. The list should include the name, address, telephone number and services provided by each agency. If there is a cost for the service include that. These services must be listed in alphabetical order under similar categories/headings, e.g., those services available to children should be listed under juvenile services
