Portfolio Entry #5 (Expository) Assessing Student Learning (Lesson 10)

It is never too soon to start developing a list of ideas about the strategies to "check for understanding" for your students. Using Bloom's Taxonomy or Webb's Depth of knowledge, find assessment strategies that meet at least three different levels of the taxonomies (there are 6 levels of Bloom's or 4 levels with Webb's).

• Explain and describe each of the assessments and how you could apply it to your content area.
• Explain if the assessment strategy will be used as formative or summative. Include an explanation of why it is so.
