External Analysis is an understanding of similar business around you or competitors. Using a SWOT analysis takes a look at strengths and weaknesses as well as internal analysis and external analysis. The purpose is to dig deeper and figure where an organization can improve, save money or resources. Leaning the inner working of your organization is important for any type of organization, whether you offer a service or sell goods. When selling goods analyzing your product, customer service, and knowing where there is room for improvement can possibly improve sales. Knowing the market for the said product and knowing other external factors that affect your business and the production of your product can set you apart from competitors for example acquiring new technology to improve production. Having an understanding of internal and external factors that affect your organization can help you come up with a plan to improve and set new goals for your organizations' success.
