Poster Presentation Instructions

For your EPS 102 Course Assignment #2 , you will give a poster presentation (

5-6 minutes

)

prepared on a magazine article. You are to complete this task by following the steps given below. Please

read the information carefully and follow the steps to not to miss any points and fulfill the requirements of

the assignment properly:

Step 1: Find a magazine article about a topic on your department or about health sciences from a reliable source Step 2: Do some research on the articles author Step 3: Collect information on the articles source Step 4: Prepare a summary of the article Step 5: Write down your own reaction to the article Step 6: Start Preparing Your Poster using Power Point considering the Guidelines & Template Step 7: Send your poster presentation on to your instructor 24 hours before your presentation using your school e-mail.

(1) The Magazine Article

Your magazine articles topic MUST be from your area of study OR one related to the Health Sciences.

It is advisable that your magazine article is about a popular, interesting topic and is up-to-date. Remember that you will need to show and write your reactions in the final part of your poster, so it is again suggested you choose a thought provoking article ; in other words, choose a topic that you will be able to response mentally and/or emotionally.
